If they want to jump on Cooke for that they gotta look at their own. Rupper's knee to knee looked pretty obvious as well. We just cut Rupper some slack because we know he wouldn't injure Staal intentionally. However I'm pretty sure he realized he was going to miss staal and made a decision to make the contact.

lets go pens...

so far we have fought in the first period and have won the game.. just saying...

i would like to see tk, dupes and sulli step up tonight....

jeffrey will get one soon, he plays with a lot of heart and you can see he will be a great addition in the years to come...

as for big dog tangradi, i wouldnt mind seeing him on pp2 in front of net... putting him on the 4th line isnt doing him justice, i hope he gets traded just so a team uses him in the way he should be...

saw this a couple of days ago but would u guys do martin for malone? or do you figure martin would bring in someone better with additions?

I think we all have agreed that Martin would be the sacrificial lamb to make cap room to resign some of the guys. But trading him for Malone doesn't give us any additional cap space and Malone is signed for like 3 more years and personally I don't think he's worth what he is getting paid. I'd pass

I wonder if Letang is going to attempt to engange Pacioretty? Or if someone else will. Actually the biggest question is will Pacioretty be willing to fight of someone wants to go with him. I bet not.

I would think it can't be Letang. Since he is coming off of concussion. I would hope one of his teammates steps up and takes care of it for him. Maybe Tangradi can give it a swing and a miss. Craig Adams boxing school hasn't worked out to well for him.

Who knows a fight against a Habs player might build his confidence. I don't think that I've seen a Hab win a fight since Knuckles Nilan played for them.

He didn't fight as a Hab did he? I thought he was a goal scorer by the time he went to Montreal

Pacioretty is a dousche. He supposedly apologized to Letang after the game at the time of the original injury. Whatever. Maybe pacioretty should take it out on Chara not Letang. If he tries anything on anyone look for Hellboy to come down from the rafters for justice!

No need for Letang to do it. He's too valuable to the team. I'm thinking its going to be Engelland or maybe Tangradi, whi seems quite willing to drop the mits lately (probably to justify his lineup spot).

No way Pacioretty fights Engo (though I'd like to see it). My money is still on Tangradi or Adams.

Neither of whom ever win fights, do they? lol The whole "revenge" fight weeks later just seems pointless to me.

If last night's any indication, it seems like Tangradi is trying to fill Asham's void a little bit, or doing whatever he can do contribute. He isn't really being given a fair shot sticking him on the 4th line, but on the flip side of that, it's not like he has really done anything to earn more a bigger role.

Interesting to see Jeffrey time on two crucial penalty kills last night. It shows how much faith the team has in him.

Hopefully just a depth move and not another serious injury... With Asham out, there are only 12 forwards on the active roster before this recall.

True that they havent won many fights, but Pacioretty is not much of a fighter. If they challenge and he accepts, good on him. If he doesn't, lets go beat his team on the scoreboard some more.

Let's do both. Why do you have to give guys a choice just hammer him. He didn't give letang a choice to break his nose and concuss him.

yeah...that would be brilliant...coming out from a concussion, and going into a fight.

Reminds me...what the hell was he doing, coming right back on the ice if he was concussed? With all that is happening to Crosby right now, you would think your team's management would take these things seriously.

It's very difficult for team's to determine immediately after big hits if the player has a concussion, a lot of times the symptoms don't show up until the next day. Especially in this case, where he also suffered a broken nose from the hit, so it was probably near impossible to make any distinction between the broken nose and possible symptoms from a concussion. Not saying it is ok that he went back in, but I am just saying it is difficult, and unless you are going to take the way cautious route of saying anyone taking a big hit is done for the night, there will be mistaken diagnosis.

Your team's crack med staff cleared him, if you recall. It worked out for us tho at the end.
